what the fuuck am i doing?…. damn, this is timeconsuming work
I thought you had been to quiet!
hard at work you know can’t waste any time on the internet forums
“waste time on forums” pfft!
soo.. 10months and 3weeks the forums says… thats the last there was any activity in this thread.. oh well.
not much has happend in these 10months (not visible anyhow, but a few things has happend).
i’be removed all of the undercoating. i’ve replaced both floorpans. fixed the front jackingpoints (and rear jackingpoint). and a shedload of other small things that had to be done 🙂
its kinda demotivating looking at these pictures. it looks like nothing has happend 🙁
welcome back! – nothing done?? looks like you’ve done loads. That’s some fairly major work you’ve done 🙂

shedloads of more work ahead.
especially since i’m replacing both rear sides and rear plate (valance?)
I like your rotisserie btw, is it made or bought?

Its starting to look a lot better Danny
the rotisserie is home made. i’m just borrowing it 🙂
i’ll buy a factory one next time i’ll do something like this, its nice having a rotisserie, but the one i’m using is hard to use, and its not movable. and is a bit cock-eyed in almost every direction.
yeah. starting to get somewhere now. and hopefully i’l be able to prime to underside soon.
when i’m done with that i’ll make some sort of frame to mount the car on. then i’ll tackle the big pieces. need to make a sturdy frame for that 🙂 don’t want the body to bend a flex.
all OEM parts.
(replacing both sides)
so. i built myself a movable frame that is rugged AF to make the body more stable when removing the side panels etc.
found some 50x50x5mm box section thrown away in a dumpster and used that (way overkill, but it was free, and galvanized. so it took 10times longer to make as i had to grind away the zink before welding) (and yes, i used the appropriate respirator mask for welding galvanized steel. i’ve had metalfever a few times before. and it sucks hard)
when that was done. i started on the sills. and hopefully i’ll make them look as good as new again
pics of said frame: (the steel weighs 6.1kg pr metere. and there are 13,5meters of it. so the frame weighs about 82kg)
right sill
