Hey,
I have a 1.8T in my Jetta syncro. I have retained the stock syncro rear engine mount until now (The one that came from factory on the GU engine). However even though I have the stubby master cylinder, the timing belt cover touches the master cylinder on acceleration. I need to move the engine further forward. What is the correct rear engine mount to achieve this? I tried the corrado rear engine mount that they suggest for fwd 1.8t swaps, but it hits the CV joint. Is this the correct syncro rear engine mount I need?
