VW GOLF RALLYE

1800cc G60 supercharged – 4 wheel drive

This Rallye really is in show condition.

And is SUPER RARE to find a Rallye without a sunroof, as well as rare it also makes the car stronger.
The body work is immaculate, there is NO dings, dents or scratches at all.
Completely straight and rust free, no nasty bubbles coming up on sills like a lot of Rallyes these days. The sills are 100% metal.

I imported this Rallye myself from France from the original owner. I had to go this far to find a decent one, which didn’t have dodgy sills.

As you can see I have spent a lot of time and money on the car.
I have kept it looking quite original apart from the BBS split rims, which as you can see are a little different from standard, they have been Diamond cut and polished. The inner is powder coated black then diamond cut back, then I have added new deep dish outer rims which are polished with new bolts, and new tyres fitted all round which have a nice stretch and are still as new. The wheels are in a immaculate condition also. (comes with or without wheels)

The exhaust is a custom 2.5″ full stainless exhaust system, which was done by maniflow it cost a lot of money but it does have a lovely tone to it and as per pictures you can see how well it has been done and it comes with warranty. The car also has a lovely hand made 4 branch stainless manifold which I had to import from Germany. When you let off you get a nice burble and a little blue flame if you get the gear change right. (this is for real not no silly spark plug up the exhaust) The charger also gives a nice whistle.

The rear window is tinted but I do have a standard rear window to go with the car if you want to change it back.

There has been just a few other mods which are found under the bonnet, it has had a ISV reroute, Bahn Brenner motorsport air intake system with heat shield etc.. Neuspeed lower thermo switch and thermostat.
Solid billet roller bearing alloy top mounts which I mated with brand new Spax height & damp adjustable coilovers, so you will not ever have the problems of top mounts blowing out. You can adjust the ride to suit yourself.

The car has electric windows which are factory fitted which again is rare in a rallye, they are fully working.

The supercharger was serviced by SLS a few years ago. The car has done 106,000 miles from new.

The car looks better than is does in the photo’s as you can see it was a dull day.

When I first got the car, I completely went over everything, ie I fitted, new handbrake cables, callipers, drive shaft gaiter, just to give you the idea I haven’t skimp a penny on this car, everything has been done and it is completely up together. I even went to the bother of changing all vacuum hoses to brand new and all other parts like this, I like to know my car is right.

The interior is standard and in good order, half leather seats etc….

This rallye runs really nice and handles like a skate board, the way you can swap lanes on the motorway is unbelievable.

She is all ready to go, own a piece of vw history. 9 months MOT & Tax till December.
