Help needed with Webasto sunroof

Hi I’m on the new format, thought it was weird all posts were locked. Anyway I’ve got a chrome edition and I’ve got a replacement canvas, but I can’t get the rear cover plate off. I’ve taken the head lining out and undone the nuts with the long metal straps on but the rear cover plate still doesn’t come off.

Anybody know or has done this before?

What Etka do you use as I used to use vagcat but it’s shut down now ?

was vagcat the “online etka” thing? if so it looks like there’s another one which might be of use: https://7zap.com/en/

I’m not sure of the source of mine but it was off a torrent site. I had to try a few different versions before I found one which worked but it’s reporting version 7 update 622 and appears to work fine. I don’t know how current that is but am happy to punch some numbers in and see what comes out if it’ll help.

Yes vagcat was online Etka but that version looks miles better than, thank you. However still not getting the info I need, anyway getting a Vw mate to help me on Sunday, 2 heads better than 1, and all that.

Taken the country to ‘Dave the trimmer’ in Bedfordshire to sort the webasto roof out. Hopefully he will have more luck than me !!!
