Just placed our order for a 2012 VW up! We should get our letter from the VW factory next week, as to when it will be finished. The dealer told us to expect delivery around March.
We ordered the “white up!” trim package. Here’s what it will look like:
With the following options:
1.0 12v 3 cylinder engine w/ 75PS (don’t laugh, the base engine has 60PS)
Power Windows
Power Mirrors
Power Locks
Leather wrapped steering wheel & shifter
Navigation/Infotainment system “Maps & More” (read up on this, very cool)
Remote Keyless Entry
Air Conditioning
Fog Lights
6-speaker stereo
Trim Package “white”:
Special color “pure white”
“classic” 16″ wheels in pure white w/ machined lip
Dash pad in “pure white”
Factory tinted windows
“Stripes” Edition specific seats (exclusive to the “white” and “black” edition) in partial leatherette
Chrome accents on:
Side panels
Inner door handles
Foglights
Mirrors
Inside of headlights
Nice one mate!
Guess the car is quite light, so even a 75bhp will feel nippy I expect.
Congrats[]
Syncro? 4-Motion?
Nope, and nope. If it were, I’d be getting it, but I still have the Golf 2 Syncro for 4WD fun. [8D]
@Padrig – You’re right, 75BHP feels quite good in the car I test-drove (which was almost identical to the one I’m getting, actually) the little 3-cylinder is lifeless at low revs, which is to be expected from such a small displacement, but once you get the revs up, it takes off.
I was surprised at the sudden burst of power, actually…it almost felt like turbo lag, lol.
Anyway, with a kerb weight of under 1000kg, it’s a fun little go-cart, just like the Golf MK1 was. Honestly, it almost feels like you’re driving a modern Golf MK1. Very cool actually.
i really like that!
good call
