I’ve acquired all the parts I need to convert rear brakes to MK3 VR6 280mm discs and S3 calipers. Where can I get brackets (carrier’s)made up or buy them.
Thanks.

When you consider that VW considered that your 239mm rear discs were big enough when they fitted them as front brakes on the early Golf 2 GTI
do you really want or need 280mm rear brakes?
Also it will upset your brake balance unless you are fitting larger front discs as well [

Oh yea I have 305mm 4pots on the front, just wana fill the wheels is all.
I made custom brackets from 5mm plate steel. Then i mounted tt/s3 rear calipers and carriers. Used oem s3/tt pads and oem corrado g60 280mm front discs. Looks awesome behind the wheels. Ive also got 4 pot setup on front, but not driven with it to see what balance is like. However i do have a pair of fluid restrictors to fit if needed. These are another oem find from a 1996 a6 tdi avant.
