Anonymousi’m running on vredestein sportrac2’s, and they are brilliant. In the wet they just work like its dry. Not sure about quadtrac’s but vredestein make very good wet tyres so my guess is they are pretty good
no such user14″ mud terrains are virtually impossible to find, although BF Goodrich did do some.
15″ off road tyres will generally be too high profile to make any sense on the Golf, even if it is a Country.

Hungry_Horse_1955I’m not really taking it off road, just a couple of gentle lanes around here! They can get a bit muddy in the winter months and I don’t think the ATs would be any good! Also, I know that some tyres are next to useless on wet grass so was looking for something a bit more chunkier although MTs would be a bit extreme.
The fitter at the local tyre emporium said he uses the Quadtrac 2 on his Volvo T5 and he reckons they are amazing in the wet and dry!
I’ve seen the 14″ BF Goodrich tyres on the internet, but I think they are only available in USA and Oz! Shipping might be a tad expensive!!!!
I think I’ll go for the Quadtrac 3s and I’ll report on how I get on.
