I think chris has already said this but, you really need to take it to bits, and get all the sh1t out of the bowl it only takes an hour or so, and is not difficult. Mine was playing up a while ago and after using a track pump to clear it 4+ times a day, for a week, I’d had enough and took it to bits, and found a little bit of blue sealant floating around, sorted

back plates are free. and are in good condition. just out of interest, what’s up with yours?

I think they might be sided, because the handbrake cable leaves the back plate at an angle!

I’m waiting to hear back from diamond hell on one he’s got, but I’m well desperate to get my hands on one.

Just another thought, if diamond hell and yourself, danny both have a gearbox available, maybe we could sort out who lives closest to who between you, me, ben and diamond hell. (just in case we are close).

sorry to butt in on your dealings but I don’t want to miss out if their is a gearbox going spare. I can’t face having a 2wd car![]

Dug the pooberg out and connected all the electrics, and it sorted it, anyway to cut a long story short some gimp had earthed what was probabley fuel cutoff or the carb temp sender wire. Don’t worry I’ve already slapped myself for being so stupid!
Just let me know when you want that pint or two.

Hello, I can’t thank you enough for sending the relay so fast, what do I owe you? Unfortunatly the fan is still doing the same thing! I’ve tried it with the sender plugs disconected, no luck. I’m not sure what is left to try! thanks again

I’ve just had a look and the plugs are all colour coded brown, grey, and black. does it say which one is the auto choke, I may as well unplug it.
