Hi guys, wow, I haven’t been on here in years and actually can’t remember what I did to solve this issue now🤦🏾♂️🤔
If I remember correctly, I stumbled across the solution buy accident while messing around with the two transfer boxes and comparing things, it was something simple like the input shaft that had to be swapped across that I’d originally left on the other transfer box.I ended up using the G60 bellhousing on the CSR box, and putting the VR6 bellhousing on the rallye box🙃

I might know what your problem is Ssaunders.
I’ve recently fitted a Golf G60 Transfer Box (not Rallye but same fitment) onto a modified CSR (VR6 syncro) gearbox.
