Mine has them.
I tried to post pic, but still have not been sure how.
G19ParticipantThanks for your reply Chris.
Do you also happen to know if this AGG engine can be fitted in the golf?
Currently I am looking at every options.
1. Have the shop do the work but get the cylinder head somewhere else
2. Have the shop rebuild the cylinder head
3. Swap with another fittable engine
4. Put the golf in hibernation and get a new rideThe order is in the likelihood of choosing a way, if I were to have the cylinder head done, I might as well get a new camshaft with better performance.
Much appreciated your help!

G19ParticipantWell the 3000euro I meant including labor, parts and everything, not just the cylinder head.
Do you happen to know if I could choose other hi-perf options as ported, etc?Shinya

G19ParticipantI would rather want a G60 GTI syncro!

I want it so bad, but too expensive…
G19ParticipantHi Chris,
I always appreciate your quick help!
I did see that, but I wondered if I could get one new for my Golf.
Since I had my front seats swapped with the Corrado’s couple of years ago, but the seat bottom padding are getting flat after extended use…Many thanks!
G19ParticipantHello Chris, thanks for the confirmation. Can you source me this?
Regards,
ShinyaG19ParticipantI found this, looks like the 1.8 syncro CAT is listed, do you agree this is the one for mine?
G19ParticipantHi Chris,
I think I found what you mean, but it is about using Mk2 sender to MK4 vehicle.
http://www.vwsyncro.co.uk/data/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=2828Any chance you can source me the sender then?
G19ParticipantHousey, that is exactly what I am looking at!
So from your comment I can just go ahead and buy the 02C rear limited slip for my syncro then.Chris, some say the cable shift tranny has a bit funny feeling when shifting, notchy/mushy, I forgot what it was that I heard, maybe I should find a corrado with a stick shift and see for myself.
Thanks for the reply!
G19ParticipantMerry Christmas to you all!
G19ParticipantThe same for me too.
G19ParticipantMy deepest condolences.
He might have helped me number of times when I was at a loss.
The name Pascal, I know from, was that a theory of Pascal which I was taught when I was in junior high.Wish I could have met him when I had a chance.
Rest in peace.
G19ParticipantHmm, just out of the curiosity I ran a search and it returned they are not listed. Where did you find that??
G19ParticipantHi from JPN, as far as I am aware, cars imported to JPN are basically that or very similar to that sold in Germany.
The only differences I can think of is an standard air conditioning.
Drive safe!
G19ParticipantHi,
I have replaced on mine couple years ago, but that was due to my car body shaking violently under load. It did not fix the vibration though.
I suppose I am one of the lucky ones that was able to buy near last sets of bearings at the time.
