i don’t mind a bit more noise, as long as i don’t get that drone around 3000rpm

this set is nice, but expensive, and needs rallye fuelpump setup (so i’ve been told, but i havn’t seen any differences on the pump on mine vs the rallye)

G60, with passat running gear (02C) with dual CAT and passat G60 manifold and downpipe etc etc etc
HouseyParticipantknock the sleeve out its bushing related, had to do this to install yellow bushings on my golf
then give it a good clean with a wirebrush, and you are good to go

HouseyParticipantif its only from the rocker cover, and not from the crankcase (take the dipstick out) then its most likeley the splashguard inside the rocker cover
if the rings are extremly worn, it will spit oil from the dipstick tube aswell
take your oilcap of, can you see the cam, or is there a black plastic splashguard in the way?
HouseyParticipantyou cannot use an A6 transmission not unless you got a car with a torsen setup
you need to use either the stock syncro, or the O2C syncro setup (passat syncro, rallye, golf 3 2.0 syncro etc)
vr6 can be used if you replace the bellhousing
you can go the haldex route, using (preferable the Gen1 haldex) this is from MK IV R32 (need to replace the bellhousing)

HouseyParticipantif you have a carb’ed engine, you don’t have a lift pump in the tank, and you can’t fit an electrical one unless you get the whole setup with pump etc
the carb don’t have fuel return, and only a 2 prong connector on the liftpump lid
but its all the same on all MK2 syncro with injection engines

(weigh the with internals before cleaning, then reweigh it cleaned to figure out how much weight it has lost during cleaning?)

does this have any effect on the speed of the VC lock? is this gooey oil uprated or stock?
