uhm, whats the correct size for my rear bearings? stock 1990 GT syncro bearings

final inspection on monday btw

had the rear brake valve adjusted today which i needed to get the car through inspection

became WAY better to brake with, now i actually have normal brakes and not only on the front end.

and. i’ve got way too much noise from the drivetrain. not sure if its the diff or the wheelbearings, gonna start with the easiest (bearings)

just need to get a hold of 2 new bearings

passat ones are the same as Golf MK2 ones so they won’t get you there

i’m not dead car isn’t dead, and some more paperwork are coming my way as we speak

the abs > non abs conversion paperwork

so. i’m getting there now. hopefully within this month

i would not reccomend these TA technix shocks..

fronts are fine, but rears are TOO short.

trust me, i know. i’ve got them. and they are too low even on the highest setting,

i’ve got a few bad pics.. to low for my taste

this is as high as it will go in the rear

if you got a 02C box, they are N 010 244 16 hexagon bolt M8X30

i don’t know my final-drive. so kinda hard to work anything out according to the ratios. need the final-drive to make the math work

back from oslo. had the car on approval today

some good new,s and some bad news.

engine conversion is approved

Lowering kit is approved (only need to get the rear brake valve adjusted, and get documentation for that)

and i need to get documentation that the brakes will perfrom as good as the ABS brakes on the car (since my car was delivered with, i need documentation from the importer that it will function just as good)

so. i’m almost there now

about 450km driven today. calculated fuelconsumption is 9 to 10L/100km

it was a pain to drive on the class a freeway in 100kph. 3000rpm makes alot of noise
