Roughly what area of the Midlands is the vehicle based? I occasionally travel up to Nottingham so wondered if it was nearby?

No, I just want a 6-speed box and diesel for more economy. I was hoping to keep the rear as it is!

Thanks for the info chaps. I’ll replace everything, including the cable (had them go before as well). Anybody know anything about these gear linkage ‘upgrade’ kits or would I be better off just replacing the bushes?

Hi Padrig,

Thanks for the pointers. There was absolutely nothing left in hole of the subframe!!!

I’ll investigate using the Car Socket idea.
