The conversion is super – it runs so nice. The gearbox syncromesses is torn down, so they will be replaced this january and then it is of to the tracks.
Anything i should know about the car ?

Btw, I saw on one of your pictures, you had a piece behind you turbo in front of the torpedo piece – is it custom or is it something I could buy? It looks very nice…

Will this gear box go on a Mk2 Syncro with an S3 engine ?

How funny, it is a small world. Did you do the engine convertion or had the car the original G60 engine in it at the time ? I have all the original papers on it. And yes – it is schwartz metallic black, and runs on 8.5 BBS RM rims
Did you have the aircondition in it ?

Yes offcourse – i still have them in my garage even though it is on Danish plates now. The plates was the german look a like:

H269 JBJ

It is a black model.

He he – just what i expected For me it doesnt matter if there is made 70 or 500, i would just be nice to know, here in Denmark they are very rare, the Rallye is seen much more (and offcourse with 5000 examples), and every time i see an ad for the Rallye it says – VERY RARE MODEL – ONLY MADE IN 5000 EXAMPLES, then it would be fun to know

What a nice ride.

I hope it is okay to raise a question about The gearbox, is it custom or taken from another VAG model ? My Golf GTI G60 Syncro is picked ud in the UK this summer, with a S3 engine doing 265 hp, but the gear box is not optimal. When giving max throttle it wont let the gearstick go until it is low in rpm. At normal to fresh driving it goes 100% normal – so that is why im interested in what you have done with your gearbox
