Well, I assume this is hard to get…
One of the options to try then is to get the identical console and cut the section of it with the holes and put it in between…thanks for the response, Chris.
Is it something that fits above the rubber support? or I am not getting…have checked with etka front engine mounting bracket, p/n 357 199 273.
It appears that it was used in 2wd passats. There were only two brackets used that time:
357 199 273 and 357 199 273A (automatic transmissions)…well… now think to go back to 020 (.
What I need now is to move the engine/gearbox 1cm onwards. That will give that bolt a clearance not to touch the steerinng rack.Thanks for that, Chris! I have missed that topic. Just a quick one: front engine mounting bracket, p/n 357 199 273 will tha fit to country? I guess that it is kinda short, correct me if I’m wrong…

Thanks for the response Chris. I have mentioned the ‘sound’ only when reversing. When going onwards everyting was fine.
Will try to put it back and in the meantime prepare the swap onto 02C tranny.Thanks!

other than this everything is ok…
it is just a damaged rear gear tooth’s particle got in between the pair.

Chris, do you have that pair from AXR gearbox for sale?right, that’s clear…
I just wondered that any 4g trannys from diesel golf have identical tooth ratio.
AKW – 65/16 – 084 409 143 A;
or AKX – 64/14 – 084 409 143 A.
The only problem there is the output shaft…
However, just wondered whether it is possible to use output shaft from AXR and crown wheel from diesel tranny.
Any ideas whether that will work?
