re2Participant
thats what im trying to think about. I dont really wanna sell but i might need to. The paint and spraying cost me 75 and the manifold was 85 + i cant remember the ££ for the flowing, and the downpipe was another 60. I dont expect all of that back, but id at least want about 150 which seems expensive…
???
ill get some pics and dig some stuff out. Or i could just sell the d/pipe on its own.
re2Participantforgot to add that it has been sprayed professionally with the ceramic coating paint
re2Participantbest off with a better low pressure pump like facet, and a fuel pressure regulator like filterking. Let us know how it goes!
re2Participantim working on the fuel pumpo thing. Mine is on when the ignition is on too, and i have to look into it more. Im also fitting a built in extinguisher but only under the bonnet
re2Participant
ok i promise that I wont post anymore old pics and my next post will be pics of the car currently and i will have fitted a few more things
re2Participantand photobucket.com is free
re2Participantsounds a promising option. All my experience of bike carbs are on bikes, so there you go. Remember that the polo boys are running 1300 or less and less weight, so i supose it depends on you and you engine choices really
re2Participanta cool early golf syncro there! Dont be tempted to loose the badges
re2Participantjust dont sell it too cheaply!
re2Participantpersonnally im a bit dubious of bike carbs as they are designed to run on lower caopacity motors and within a greater rev range. I know they work, but why mess about when dcoe’s are so readily available.
re2Participantsounds a really interesting find! Do get some pics up please
re2Participantand im brassic too! That is begging me to 2l my jetta coupe track car with something like that! Its only a shell at the moment but wait and see… [][]
re2Participantyou have a crossflow, so use 40 carbs (dcoe best for spares and tuning knowledge) and get get silly and fit 45’5 as you dont need them (i dont on my engine). Use the torque as thats what gets a syncro moving
re2Participanttheres nowt on here to be fearful of! Its two members who have has a disagreement- thats all and the first case I can remember ever.
just think how much of this must happen on other huge forums []
re2Participanti might be able to put you in the right direction, but im awaiting confirmation
