Thanks for the replies guys, it looks like none of the left over bits from my rocco will fit the Jetta; ah well I’ll keep my eyes open for a cheap PB cam then.
skattrdMemberIf thats what standard shocks do then I would assume thats what the previous owner fitted …
Do you reckon it’ll be ok if I put + 40mm springs on the front with the back as it is then? And it was the state of the rear end that got me thinking about going country stylee []
skattrdMemberI have a dream for the car. I don’t know if/when it’ll happen but I’d love a G60 Jetta countryish []
skattrdMemberCheers for the info guys, I guess I’ll forget that idea then and save my pennies for a G60 conversion

The bypass valve was what a mate of mine said as well … Thx for the tip, I think I’ll give that a shot.
As for the radiator fan coming on late I had a look at that earlier it looks like the rad+fan have been replaced and one wire is not connected, 2 speed fan working only on 1 speed?

I wish it was that simple …. the water level is at max. It is filthy though, so that’ll be getting a flush through it @ the weekend which I’m sure will help
skattrdMemberHi,
Chris from Lincs (UK) here. I have just aquired a Jetta syncro, red and grey two tone one off ebay.
Its not a common car or colour scheme so does anyone know any history of it?Thx
