Andover VW had trouble tracking the 68mm ones down, on back order, so they might now be a week or so before they arrive, I will find out today when they phone. They have said that I can have them for the same price as the larger ones as compensation.
I cant believe the price difference as the VR6 front bearings were £20 a pop. supply and demand I suppose.

MemberYour garage is about as busy as one of mine. lol
It’ll be alot easier and quicker with 2 of you doing the swap for both the engine and gearbox. If your short any digi gubbins give me a shout, i’ll have a butchers, if got a few bit and have no plans on using it.

MemberThere is another option. Ive gone 5 stud on my syncro 5×100 but Im sure you could get the adapters made to 5×112.
I’ll try and dig out the invoice they were £120ish

Ive found loads of cracking parts from a German ebay seller, Auto Tellie Koch (sp)and have seen stacks of bits and pieces for the Vr6 Syncro’s which you may need.

Memberive got the hotel and ferry booked up, and I am over there 17-22 August with the lot I went with last year.
Unfortunatly it wont be in the syncro, I dont think it will be totally finished, I am taking the Jetta over this year 45’s valver power
