Hello again Pascal. I was measuring the pulley from the top of the groove across the pulley to the top of the same groove with the belt off. With regards to the chip, my engine is from a G60 corrado with a small intercooler under the wing. I would be quite happy to return the car to the original chip and pulley and fit a larger intercooler later for better efficiency. Can you supply me with a standard pulley and chip.

Measured the pulley. It approx 66mm from the top to top of the belt Vs. Also found some numbers on the Superchip. They are G60 7246.346 11054. Any ideas what these mean.

I haven’t fully decided what way I am going to keep the car. I might fit a TDi engine to it, but then its not my everyday transport so fuel comsumption is not realy the issue. I know that if I keep the G60 lump in it I will have to fit the 02C box.

Hello everyone. My name is Trevor from Donegal in Ireland. Bit of a car nut particularly vw and Fiat. Owned two polos, one 1.3 mk2 golf and a mk2 gti the past. My syncro is a red 5dr(faded of course) fitted with a G60 engine mated to a rod 020 gearbox. Body very good but alot of minor problems to sort out. Anyway just like to say, great forum and wealth of knowledge. Cheers Trev

    Thanks Chris for the info.
I already have a receipt with the car for a gearbox rebuild so it clearly not strong enough. think I’ll fit an 02c box.
