What you can do is to combine an 02M 4Motion gearbox with the gears from a 02M FWD Tdi gearbox. If you can’t get your hand on a gearbox fom a Tdi 4Motion 6-speed. But they are rare.

VegardMemberThe outer CV’s have different splines for the hub. If you want to go with 4Motion outer CV’s you’ll have to change the hub for the front VR6 item.
The reason why you have to cut the shaft ends is because the Haldex diff is wider. If you don’t cut the shaft will be too long and the shaft will brake the CV’s.
Cutting the inner side of the shaft to make room for the CV joint is needed due to the thicker 100 mm inner CV. The 90 mm Rallye CV is approx 5 mm thinner then the 100 mm CV.
