WompaParticipant
Im rethinking this…
What is the best solution? Seems like there is alot of hassle with driveshafts and CV.
I was hoping that I could use the VR6 chassi with the ABF and a gearbox for that.
I want 5×100 because of the wider track and larger brakes that can be easily bought.
But should I just go the 02C gearbox way?
How about the angle drive and haldex?
And what Haldex can I use? Are they all the same?
WompaParticipantOne more question.
What kind of Haldex can I use? There is alot of MK4 2.8 with Haldex and others like a Passat or something.
Is there one specific one that I need to obtain?
Thats one of the things that I dont really have a clue is the transferbox from the gearbox to the Haldex… wich one that I need to use, in order to convert to ABF.WompaParticipantToo late…
Its in 15 pieces now.I didnt find any place to store it either so…
Feel bad about it butWompaParticipantThe car is just a shell with doors, bootlid and seats…
And the center console.Besides that the car is empty.
Hmm!
WompaParticipantWompaParticipantWashed it for the first time, and did a complete wash of the underside and enginebay!
WompaParticipantSo you want mine in exchange?
I need to remove mine to see that I have the real deal… the car has been to 15owners its whole life…
WompaParticipantWompaParticipantMy friend bought one from the dealers a while back.. was about 40quid.
WompaParticipantThere is a third brake light you could get that installs on the rear window… but the spoiler with the brake light.. I think that was made by Votex.
This?
WompaParticipantDrove it today!
But the one of the rear bearings is shoot… changing!
WompaParticipantGot the last door!!
WompaParticipantWompaParticipantWhy does everyone say right side? Is it because its oem?
Update!
I think it went in quite well.
It touches the gearstick surround but I noticed that my Corrado does the same.
